Lately (as you can see) I'm dusting off some of my Mac folders. Tons of memories suddenly appear. Of course all of them are closely related to people: classmates, flatmates, friends...it's inevitable to loose contact with the most of them. Sometimes due the vicissitudes of life, like changes of residence or work. And sometimes because you want it that way. If I learned something in life is that you cannot get along with all people you meet. It's impossible. And at least it isn't nobody's fault: there are characters completely incompatible. So at that point the better way to go on is to put a wall between them and you.

They play alternative/experimental rock, with some progressive elements. Fresh sound, catchy songs...you SHOULD take a listen here!

The drawing is done completely with ink. I wanted to give it a vintage vibe, and as you can see, it's pretty influenced by the Art Nouveau, especially Alfons Mucha.

No, it's not the title of this great Worship album. If you take a look, you can notice there is an 'O' added to it.

This is simply a gift I wanted to send to a friend of mine; we're always talking about music, recommending each other a bunch of stunning albums. He asked me for some classic and epic doom bands and themes, and I found really interesting to make a 'physical' compilation, not only a raw list with a direct link to Mediafire. So here it is, a double CD with a 'doomie' artwork done by me (of course), and completely handmade. A week ago my laser printer said 'THAT'S ENOUGH' and stopped working. I guess the problem is with the toners, but anyway it seems to be broken. So I had to do all with cards, watercolours and patience. Whatthehell. I adore to do handmade things. Even more if it will be appreciated.

I'm not really an enthusiast of drawing contests. I don't like to work under pressure, because things don't come as you have in mind. And if you add this to the fact of have a little time to dedicate to these drawings, the result is something dramatic.

This is what happened to me some weeks ago. I was immersed into a big move, with all the problems that entails a new house. Anyway, I decided to submit some art to 2 contests: the renewed Darkthrone covers (Ravishing Grimness and Goatlord) and a spanish tribute to Dio.

As I said before, the result was not what I had in mind, 'cause the time was really short.

This is the cover for Ravishing Grimness, inspired on Wotan's figure (absolutely grim)

And this is the one for the Dio Tribute. Watercolours, ink and marker on cardboard. The image shows the 4 Dio-stages: Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio himself.

Today I've realized that I threw away the pen of my graphic tablet the last time I did a cleaning of my worn out markers/pens. So I should have mistaken it with a ballpen or something, I dunno. The thing is that it's the SECOND TIME this happens to me. So I'm definitely DUMB.

This is one of my principles. I'll give you an example: take the worst movie in the world. Whatever. I don't know...well, take one movie starring by JACK BLACK. Horrific, eh? Ok. Then add a bunch of zombies. The film improves! At least now you can laugh (with or at it).

That's why I love zombies so much, they can save your ass. Always.

Lately I'm doing a lot of erotic illustrations, some are by request and the other are only for fun. So when somebody calls you for a commission and asks for a different cover, joining erotism, sex and rotten meat, the result is funnier. At least is how I felt doing this drawing. Here's an extract of it:

Yesss, this is the title of the last The Boys volume I read. Pretty awesome, but no so much as the previous episodes. Hope it doesn't mean that Ennis is calming down. Uhm.

Well, I've chosen this to name the entry for obvious reasons. I don't know what happens with me but suddenly I've started drawing comic heroes and heroines doing some sexual activity. Maybe I'll use them to make a kind of serial illustrations, maybe it will end here. Or maybe I should stop reading adventures of people wearing pajamas and go back to my dear Transmetropolitan.

This is a portrait I made a month ago for an upcoming tribute to Ronnie James Dio...I don't know which bands will appear on it nor which songs will be covered...I don't know ANYTHING! But well, it was a request of my good friend César, so I only followed his instructions without saying a word, I'm totally sure that it will be a total blast!

And with this ends the update. I can smell the popcorns from here, it's time to watch some series!

(wow, that's my first entry in 2011! It took me a whole month to post it...lol)

Well, since some time ago I'm collecting BJD, which means 'ball jointed dolls'. They're made with resin and the most remarkable thing is that they have joints like a human body. These dolls use to be very realistic and customizable. You can make up'em as you want, put'em wigs...all that shit. The thing is that the other day I made myself a question: 'it's possible to make my own doll?' The answer was: 'well...if you have patience...'. Of course I haven't got it as much as this hobby deserves, but whatthehell, I must try. So here's a homemade head with almost 3 hours of life:

Well, It needs more hours of sculpting and sanding to be considered 'a head with a name', but for now it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would look, haha. Hope I will see it finished one day (in a near future)...

...my only friend. The end. OF THE YEAR, of course. Show must go (and will be) on!

Well well well...another year is gone. And with it, tons of events and things and experiencies and...so on. I don't use to look back and weigh up what happened, and then put this in a balance and make an analysis to concrete if the year was 'good ' or 'bad'. Good or bad...nothing is 'good' or 'bad', or 'black' or 'white' exclusively. That's why I never look back for anything, because all is more complex than it seems to be. I don't want to think. I'm lazy by nature!

Anyway, a lot of things happened in the world, that's true. Unfortunately more negative than positive. But yeah, I have my own world with its own conflicts and delights, so I didn't pay much attention to what happened outside of it. Call me selfish if you want. I have enough in my inner shelter...health problems, removal problems, family problems....well, for what I am telling it seems a really bad year...but it wasn't. I also had a lot of joy for tons of things, my first wedding anniversary, for example. TONS of work, too...and that it's really important due the country situation! Well, the only thing I regret myself is the way I've been disconnected from the 'music world', I mean that I missed a lot of gigs this year, and a big bunch of new releases too. This second thing will drive me crazy, I don't know how I will be up-to-date with them. Arrrrgh.

And regarding the gigs...uh. The only thing I can say is that I have ended up too much drunk the latest concerts. Especially these ones:

Church of Misery + Death Row on April. I started taking some beers in the afternoon, once I had finished the tattoo course. I suppose that I was really happy, because the only thing I can remember (beside of the great gig) is that I changed to rum too much early. Awww. The hangover at the next day was fucken dooooooom. All was sloooowly lilting.

Avulsed + Entombed on March. WOW. I think that was the WORST hangover ever. The previous day I went to 2 concerts, Katatonia + Swallow the Sun and Monkeypriest + Orthodox, so when I arrived at the Entombed's concert I was really tired. I tried to clear my head with some beers...and I lost control. I don't remember ANYTHING from one hour after the concert until the next morning. According to my husband's version, I was ok until we took a taxi. Then I felt asleep. And I walked from the taxi to the hotel like a zombie...in fact, I woke up completely dressed.

As you can see, is better to miss gigs, at least for my health .

I've been a little bit tired the last weeks. Maybe because of some health problems I've got lately (fucken lungs...argh!) I haven't got the strenght to create anything. But well, the show must go on. So I've thrown away my laziness and this weekend I started to draw regularly. And curiously, the first things that have appeared in my notebooks have been these hot images:

Aaaaaww....I don't remember the last time I celebrated Halloween properly. I mean with costumes, alcohol, karaoke and all that shit. Maybe I must go back until 2004, when I was studying in an Illustration module and we kicked up a fuss :_D We used to decorate the school with candles, pumpkins, spiderwebs (well, this wasn't necessary due the dirtiness, but we always added some cotton...) and other things; then we went to the supermarket with the joint fund (compiled during the week) to buy drinks and food (more drinks than food, I have to say).

Once all was prepared, we dressed up and received the people at the gates (like in a terror passage). The party started and the teachers used to join us later, with customs too. The evening could last more or less, depending to when the police appeared to vacate us (due the noise...fucking neighbors, agh.)

Then we continue the party in pubs, of course.

The last time I celebrated Halloween I chose the custom of Pater Karras. A friend of mine found a treasure near her house. Someone has thrown at the garbage 3-4 bags full of a priest's belongings (a priest which was recently dead, I guess). Cassocks, crucifixes, religious card illustrations, folders with notes, letters....a lot of shit. She gives me one of the cassocks as a gift for Halloween (luckily the priest was a fucken pigmy; the robe was my size, haha). I wash it conscientiously, and the added a black hat to the costume. I really looked like Pater Karras, especially because another friend joined me dressed as Regan MacNeil. Totally epic.

How I miss these days and these parties. I must organize something for Carnival. I already have in mind my costume...bwahaha.

Meanwhile, here I left my 'halloween picture'. Nothing fancy, but well...next year, more and better.

Some days ago I told you that I was going to submit an illustration to a manga contest. It was the very first time I did something into manga in a professional mode, aside of fanarts or other drawings only for fun. Well...today I received a mail announcing me that I won the contest. It's kinda weird, my first manga drawing makes me winner in a contest...but whatthehell! I'm happy!

This is the work. I titled it 'Countess Bathory'. The only thing that motivates me -in any artistic genre-, is to draw something dark, haha.

And this is the prize. A Dragon Ball poster (old school! haha), a manga zine, a diary, a manga comic (The Ringu), some postcards...nothing fancy. But hey, for me it's symbolic. The important thing is to participate.

Our new tenant...

Well, lately my father visit us frequently and brings with him tons of green delicatessen from his vegetable garden. The other day he came with a bunch of swiss chard. I left the vegetables on the worktop of the kitchen to wash it and put it into the fridge, and I continued doing my things. Later I went to the worktop where was the swiss chard and I saw something moving out of the corner of my eye: a snail crawling through the wall, trying to runaway from a cruel destiny. But I have feelings. Sometimes. And I had pity on it. So I adopted the snail and gave him a name: Pepito.

Pepito now lives in a tupperware with a leaf of swiss chard and some water. And though I now he's happy, he still tries to escape from his house and it's common to see how crawls slowly seeking a better future (too much optimism, I guess).

He's coming to you, aaaaaaaaaarrghhhh!!!!

Enough for today. In the other hand, a friend of mine has discovered me a good site where to submit my art, Newgrounds , without any risk of censorship. You only have to take a look to some artists to corroborate it :D So I think I will let die my DeviantArt account. I' m too explicit or sick for their rules, the move is on the way.

This is an extract of a double canvas composition I made circa 2008. That's fucken huge. It was on a wall in the corridor of my (still) house. I'm moving to another bigger, so I'm dismantling all the shit I've accumulated for years. Maybe I have a kind of Diogenes Syndrome...I don't know. The thing is that I'm discovering paintings on canvas I've forgotten I'd made, which were kept in an attic, so the feeling is really...weird. I'm conscious when I'm drawing? And I'm conscious of WHAT I'm drawing? Awwww...I think I've been drunk too many times. I'm losing faculties...and, especially, memory.

I've been some days up in the mountains, hiking and visiting some places. And as every vacation-time, I started a new notebook, a kind of travelogue where to dump some ideas/sketches. This is what popped up being in an almost isolated cabin (WARNING: shitty pics from a shitty cellphone):

Entrails, blood, disfigured tits...this is the first thing I did when I started the notebook. Evocative as hell, as you can see.

Maybe someday I'll write some words telling my opinion about the treatment the club gave to this player. It could be titled as 'Philosophical Revolt' (good song from Solefald, btw).

CATWOMAN. The first one is done with ink and Photoshop, and based in a shoot of Bianca, once again. The other illustration...well, all of you MUST know to which movie belongs. Yes, of course it's Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns. Acrylics on paper.

LARA CROFT. Acrylics and liquid latex* on paper (*this is supposed that it had to give the drawing some shines, but the scanner KILLED any hue on it). One of my homeworks when I was doing the illustration module (7 years ago. F*ck, I'm old!).

EMMA FROST. Ink and Photoshop. REALLY quick drawing, as you can notice in the poor work I did with the shines of her clothes. Uh.

SHE-RA, the warrior princess. Another quick drawing done with 4 ink lines and some colour with Photoshop. It was my homage to one of my disappeared toys of the last move, when I came to live in this little village. I don't know how I lost her. Anyway, She-Ra: you always be in my...liver?

It's Monday. So I shouldn't say anything more. ALL Monday sucks, especially because I'm still with this kind of depressive feeling of 'fuck everything' that usually gives me the Sunday. Call it 'hangover' or call it 'absolute boredom'. Doesn't matter. Sunday& Monday are the WORST days of the week, with difference.

Well, while I'm waiting for the visit of the muses (those fucking bitches, aaaaah, how I hate them), 'cause I have to go on with my life and with my works (though today I'm not in an optimistic mood to do it) I take the opportunity to update this blog with some things I have rounding my folders. Two portraits and one drawing I made for a future project regarding erotic illustration.

Here's Lemmy, the MAN. The father of rock and roll and one of my spiritual guides (aside from Happy Tom). DIN-A4, Charcoal on paper (with tons of attitude, I must add). I hadn't got any reason to do it, besides from my delight in draw portraits. Maybe I was listening to INFERNO (the last Motorhead album I enjoyed the most)...who knows.

That one was a birthday gift for a good friend of mine. DIN-A3, charcoal&pencil and colour pencils (red, to be specific). My idea was to give an original present, so that's why I modified (mildly) her face to include some evil stuff. She has a really strong character, so the devil-rol fits perfectly. Haha.

And to finish this update (hope the muses are here soon, in other case I'll go for a SIESTA, our national sport), here's the 'erotic illustration'. DIN-A4, watercolours & ink. Well, she isn't showing her tits nor making a hardcore orgy with the two guys of the background...I assume. In fact it's only a little drawing for a story, a quick-tale of a guy who's playing in a band and sees that girl in the crowd. The guy wants to finish quickly the gig to meet her and...well, you can imagine. So the drawing ONLY has to seduce, insinuate. Not all are always going to be tits & cocks.

For today, that's all folks.

PS: the playlist of these weeks has been REALLY assorted, prevailing the punk-rock in the same vein of The Clash, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Dead Kennedys...etc. Very festive.

Some new covers...

Hello there! Lately I'm quite busy with all the tattoo stuff and other projects and works, so the updates will be anything but frequent. Oh well.

Here's the cover for one of the next releases from the Darkness Shade Records label, the CAÏNA tape 'I, Mountain'.

There were some ideas and some sketches, but finally I chose this one, a lovecraftian monster emerging from the mountains. Dark, epic and horrifying. Or something.

And on the other hand, here is (probably) a future cover for the band BLUDVERA:

Yep, it reminds of a old school comic cover, maybe from the '80s...who knows.

Anneke&Agua de Annique

I was just passing by to say: AWESOME GIG!

The musical evening was extremely nice and really intimate. The club was quite empty, but though it could seems something 'negative', the result was totally opposite. The atmosphere was magic and intense, and the crowd amazingly devoted. There were a lot of compliments for that enormous singer (well...the english of most of the spanish people is worrying and limited, so the word was -in spanish, of course- only 'GUAPA', but repeated aaaall along the show, after every song); and of course, tons of sympathy from Anneke to the fans. Extremely nice girl.

The setlist was more varied than I expected; besides of the songs of Agua de Annique there were also 2 Gathering covers (an acoustic and precious 'My Electricity' and as an encore, 'Shrink'), as well as a cover from the Devin Townsend project 'Ziltoid': the powerful 'Hyperdrive', where the wonderful voice of Anneke resounded all over the hall; and 'Papillon', from The Editors.

I have to add something: in live that band sounds more powerful than on studio. I mean that the albums are good, really good, but too many pop-oriented. However, the gig had more 'rock sound', more power and more prominence on guitar's distortion. I expected something smoother. It hasn't got the charm The Gathering had, but well...in some moments, they were really near.

Anyway, the only presence of this lady (and her voice):

was enough for me to enjoy the concert.

Monsters

There are a lot of them in the music world. One of my favourite monsters in the singing discipline is the girl drawn in that couple of quick-portraits I've retrieved from the depths of my Mac: Anneke (who is world famous for being the ex-vocalist of The Gathering)

Since 2007 she's playing and singing in front of her own band, Agua de Annique, as well as doing some interesting acoustic shows and duets with some reputated musicians, like Daniel Cavanagh (from Anathema). The music of Agua de Annique is not exactly the same she used to play when she was in The Gathering, maybe it needs more 'power' for my taste (not precisely 'metal sound', since my favourite TG album is 'Souvenirs', with that electronic vibe and drum&bass sounds)...but well...the voice of Anneke improves more and more every time she publishes a new work. So the next tuesday I'll be in the city watching her (their) concert, enjoying it and especially, her voice.

Unfortunately, this time wasn't a joke.

Peter Steele was one of the most charismatic singers/lyricists of all times, as we have seen during his work in front of Type o Negative and Carnivore. So now it's not the moment to wonder 'why' nor to make suppositions of his cause of death. It's time to play October Rust and Retaliation LOUD.

...and with that sketch I've found in one of my notebooks (from 2004, I guess) ends my homage.

Some posts ago (I don't remember when, and now I'm too much lazy to looking for that update, sorry) I showed a kind of sketch as an advance for a future artwork. Well, the thing is still 'on hold', cause the band (S.I.C.) is recording some tracks for the next album...but what the hell, I have permission to post here the drawing and I haven't got anything better to do until 22:00 PM, when starts THE match. And I say THE match because it will be fucken epic: R.Madrid - F.C.Barcelona (for all of you who unaware of this fact: they're archenemies). OF COURSE I'm with Barcelona, my team since I was a kid. So probably today we'll reach the first position once again, at least I hope that.

The atmosphere here is really optimistic, and holy shit, that's infectious.

WELL, quick...lately I'm busier than usual, so the updates are anything but frequent (as you can see). A lot of work and several projects keeps me occupied and stressed, but also entertaining, at least.

So here I am, taking a break while listening to Death Row/Pentagram (I'll see them in concert the next week!) and seeking in my pc-folders to find something interesting to maintain this blog 'alive'. And here it is, a cd-cover which is 'on hold' (due several 'technical problems') and supposed to be the artwork for a grindcore band. Blood, entrails and bones, as usual.

..and that's all for now. I'll continue checking some orders I received today (good music, of course).

Well, I've been without TV for 3 weeks -it seems that my house has a poltergeist, every week I have a breakdown with a different electrical appliance, awww-. The thing is that the signal came back today...and I don't care a shit.

Maybe the great programmes we have here have helped a lot to my apathy. What's the use in having so many channels with our brand new TDT if all are scum? It's a waste of time, indeed.

These days without TV have been for good. Before that, I used to turn it on immediately when I awoke, only as an habit. So inadvertently, I paid more attention than it deserved, and because of that, I spent this precious time doing nothing benefit. On the other hand, these 3 weeks the first thing I used to do is play some loud music (a very good habit I neglected for too much time), which gave me the perfect rush of energy to leave aside my laziness and do a lot of things.

Without silly TV programs in the background, I work better, for sure. I've done more drawings and brainstorms than ever, and a lot of projects (which will be showed here soon) have popped up. I had time to listen and discover more music, to write, read, draw and cook a lot. Seems impossible, but TV had turned me into a half-zombie. I never had paid much attention, but I had been caught subtly, making my days much less fruitful.

So my advice (if anyone wants it) is: turn off the TV much as you can. Kill your TV before it kills you.

Large Family

What a loving image, eh? This is the first drawing I make with ballpen. It was the tool which I had in hand, so I tried this new 'technique'. And I think that rarely I'll repeat. I don't feel really comfortable with it, and I don't like the result at all. I suppose that I should keep on practising to get better works, but well...nowadays, ballpen is not my thing.

Nothing more to tell...it's sunday (well, here it's 0:39, so it's already monday), and all sundays sucks. Laziness is all around...

Anyway, just one short tip as a musical recommendation: STEELHORSE, classic heavy metal from Spain. Check out his full-length 'Wild Power'. Really damn good. It helped me a lot while I was working this weekend. A total rush of energy.

Aaaahhh...what the hell. Why my mind can remember songs like this, but then forgets the important things, like all the computer passwords or some special dates? Who knows. Seems that my brain has selective memory, a kind of Diogenes Syndrome: it only can collect tons of shit.

ANYWAY, the fact is that the song came suddenly to my mind when I saw how the designs I made for the band Spear Induced Carnage (updated on November 13th) look in the forthcoming merch (they are an slam death metal band from Vancouver -damn good, I must add-):

The Marriage of Heaven and Hell

Another little drawing (din-a4) in the early morning. Today the muses visited me very often, but I wasn't at home with all my artistic tools. So I had to wait...and wait...'til now. Once again, the early morning. And once again, tomorrow I'll have terribly rings under the eyes. Oh well. Anyway, it deserves it, I mean to have the possibility of capturing some thoughts in a paper. If I don't do that, I couldn't fall asleep. The ideas would be bouncing around in my head, and consequently, I'd be tossing and turning on bed. So it's better that way, I think.

The drawing has nothing special. There isn't any meaning nor inspiration apart from what it's drawn. A demon and an angel copulating (yes, I became refined at this hours, shit). This is it. Maybe it can remember to an specific scene of The Preacher (note: if you haven't read this comic, I recommend that you do it). Or maybe it's only a recurring theme...who knows.

Maybe you don't care about it (and I assume), but I'll be doing a tattoo course in april. It's what I've been looking forward to for some years. Can't wait to inject ink to people.

Here's a little drawing (din-a4) I've just finished. The inspiration came while I was listening to Dawn (Swe) and Crypt of Kerberos. Which is the relation with this illustration? I don't know. It's 3:22 AM in Spain, so at this hour I don't even know who I am. The only thing I can do in the early morning is drawing while listening to music. In fact, it's almost impossible for me to draw anything during the day. The muses always visit me at these untimely hours. F*cking bitches. I must go to bed. Tomorrow I'll be a walking corpse.

WELL. New year, new beginning. And that's hard. I feel lazier than ever since I started the Winter Solstice holidays. I don't celebrate Christmas because I'm not a believer -of nothing, I want to add-, but I have a family which usually follows traditions, which consists basically in have plentiful meals. So we don't believe in nothing, but we eat and drink as hell. Just to pass some days together and have some 'fun'. Typical spanish traditions. Eat and drink if there won't be a tomorrow. Oh well.

That's (basically) why I haven't updated anything in the blog since december 24th (and the drawing was recycled from 2008, haha). Maybe it will sound ridiculous, but I'm not able to draw anything during these kind of celebrations. You get into an spiral of laziness which stops you to do something benefit. It's really depressive.

So here I am, with tons of piled up works. I don't know where to start. And if it wasn't bad enough, it's snowing and I haven't got domestic hot water. Thanks my landlord for being so careful with his tenants.

ANYWAY, these days I have had time enough to do other things, like tidy up my cds and lps (though it might not look like it, it's VERY physical. I have a lot of music, and the room where is it was a total mess). So I put aside my laziness and tidied the cds. And I took the opportunity to make my list of Best of 2009. Here it goes:

MORNE - Untold Wait

I think it has been easily the album which I listened the most the past year. Quite melodic and ambient sludge with Jeff Hayward (Disrupt) on vocals. That album is almost unbeatable. Listen to Eyes, Untold Wait or the ending theme, Sorrow. Goosebumps.

BULLDOZER - Unexpected Fate

Unexpected damn good work, I must say! The return of the italian dirty thrashers scared me a lot, 'cause since the last full-length ('Neurodeliri', 1988) have passed the huge amount of 20 years. 20 YEARS! But well, all the fears disappeared when I pushed 'play'. Intense and full of good riffs as a Bulldozer album used to be. Luckily, all remains the same.

KATHARSIS - Four Reich

Another good album of these blackers. Good, evil and harsh as their last album ('WolrdWithoutEnd') was. This is the black I like the most, primitive and rude.

PROCLAMATION - Execration of Cruel Bestiality

Third part of the tetralogy started with 'Advent of the Black Omen'. Dirty black metal in the same vein of Blasphemy, Conqueror or Morbosidad. Damn great.

TEITANBLOOD - Seven Chalices

The new sensation of the underground extreme metal. Death/black, formed with members of Proclamation. Harsh and chaotic as hell, intense and dark. One of the best spanish bands you can find right now.

KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR - Dogs of War

Blackened thrash from Spain, too. This is their debut (aside of the split with Morbid Yell, of course), and it's f*cking great. They have a Sarcófago and Apokalyptic Raids vibe. And their vocalist, Lillith (also in the black metal band Akerbeltz) is one of the most evil voices you can hear in the scene. Truly amazing. Highly recommended.

OBLITERATION - Nekropsalms

Pretty good second album of this norwegian band. Death old school with a punkish vibe, similar to Repugnant or Autopsy. Morbid and blasting.

ORTHODOX - Sentencia

I was waiting for that album eagerly, the previous ones were reaaaally good. Intense and ambient doom metal, nearly funeral. Delicious.

SARKE - Vorunah

Well...I know that a lot of people have criticized this project with Thomas from Tulus and the mighty Nocturno Culto, basically because of its clear sound. Well, if you want something in that way but dirtier, you already have Hellhammer and Celtic Frost (aside of TONS of bands copying the sound). That's precisely what it's interesting on Sarke: the mixture of the harsh voice of mr. Culto and the clear sound. So I found the album pretty good, and full of great themes. In fact, 'Old' is an hymn for me. Catchy chorus and riff, it isn't?

Well, there is some more albums I liked this year, like Baroness, Candlemass, Nocturnal or Mournful Congregation...but I must stop now (the list would be never-ending). So that's all folks.

Hope 2010 is so good than 2009.

That was the previous sketch. Laying on the grave there was a sexy rotten chick being devoured by the zombies. The girl didn't work at all, so I deleted her from the drawing and instead of this I put a bunch of flesh and bones to emphasize the epitaph/wordplay of the tombstone: 'rest in pieces'. And standing behind the grave I also included another funny zombie sucking up a brain like it was a milkshake. Just to give the drawing more equilibrium. So the final result was that:
